AGV for Omnidirectional Movement Based on the Macmillan Wheel. The Macmillan Wheel transforms a portion of the wheel steering force onto a plurality of perimeter wheels, depending on the direction and speed of the respective wheels. The resultant synthesis of these forces produces a resultant vector in any desired direction to ensure that the platform The final resultant force vector can be freely omnidirectionally or laterally moved without changing the direction of the wheel itself.
